Paramount’s newly minted Oscar Greatest Image nominee Prime Gun: Maverick gained Greatest Image on the AARP Films for Grownups Awards, held Saturday on the Beverly Wilshire Resort.
The Tom Cruise-starring sequel beat out competitors for the group’s marquee award that included fellow Oscar nominees in Warner Bros’ Elvis, A24’s Every thing In all places All at As soon as, Common/Amblin’s The Fabelmans, Focus Options’ Tár and Orion/UAR’s Ladies Speaking in addition to Sony’s The Girl King.
Elvis‘ Baz Luhrmann gained the Greatest Director award and the movie took the Greatest Time Capsule award, giving it essentially the most wins on the night time of any film.
